Chris UWADOKA, an economist, is the Special Adviser to the Chairman of Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Abuja. He has held this full-time position since 202; a position in which he works directly with the Chairman in planning, designing and operationalizing strategies and activities for meeting the mandate of the Commission.

In an earlier tour of duty at the Commission, between 2009 and 2013, he was part of the team that set up the Commission from scratch with no pre-existing templates, examples or roadmaps. At the time, he served as Special Assistant (SA) to the Federal Commissioner in charge of the Legal, Investigation and Enforcement Directorate.

In a ‘former life,’ between 2016 and 2021, Chris UWADOKA served as Director of Partnerships at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AEFUNAI), Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He also served as Pioneer Director of the University’s Centre for Development Assistance Management, Partnership and Training (CEDAMPAT), as well as Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, supporting him with high level ideation, coordination, delivery and reporting.
